This abstract landscape series of eight 14x11 inch works on paper, is inspired by the feeling of floating. Untethered explores idea of being in a none familiar places. the feeling of hovering, and unmoored. by questioning the sense of gravity. And our ability to release attachments and let go of what anchors us.
The series of landscapes captures my emotional state represented in different seasons and colors by exploring what’s hidden beneath these layers. In this small body of work I used papers with different surface and texture as a base for my floating landscape.
